The Avonview Cemetery in Bristol was first opened in 1883, but it appears much more modern thanks to its well-maintained landscape. Situated in east Bristol, the Avonview Cemetery has incredible scenic views over the Avon Valley and the hills beyond.  

This Bristol Cemetery is well-known for its beautiful children’s memorial section that is full of brightly coloured windmills. It also contains a striking chapel that is currently out of use. 

The Avonview cemetery is home to memorials for 85 casualties from the First World War, and 53 from the Second World War.
