This commemorative poppy is one of 888,246 ceramic poppies planted by 8000 volunteers around the Tower of London ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ installation – each representing the life of a solider from Britain or the Commonwealth lost in WWI. The sale of the poppies raised money for charities which serve British veterans, including Help for Heroes and The Royal British Legion.
