The expert Summers’ memorial masons were proud to be asked to restore the original marble memorial plaque at Gladstone Primary School in Barry.
The original marble memorial plaque commemorating those pupils who lost their lives in The Great War required specialist and careful restoration prior to being re-instated within the grounds of the school. The marble plaque is inscribed with black and gold engraved lettering as well as a laurel wreath design.
We were honoured to have been able to restore the plaque for today’s new generations to appreciate the sacrifice of their predecessors.
