The quality of maintenance is clearly evident at Thornbury Cemetery.

Thornbury Cemetery, near Bristol, was first opened in 1897. It is situated in the quiet, rural town of Thornbury, and is just a short walk from the town centre. It was extended in 1975 with the addition of two further plots of land to keep up with the demand for burial space.

This scenic cemetery is cared for by a small team of staff who carry out daily maintenance tasks to ensure the grounds remain beautiful with well-kept trees, shrubs, and flowers. It is split into 5 sections: Old Church, New Church, Non Conformist, Roman Catholic, and Extension. Thornbury Cemetery allows burials, interments, and scattering services to honour a departed loved one.

The cemetery contains memorials for 13 casualties from both the First and Second World Wars.
